Lemon bars-simple & delish!

These are great! Two ingredients, minimal effort to make, and if you want, dress them up to give away, take as a dessert to pass, or sit home and eat square by square…..

Two ingredients. Boom. You know you want one….

You’ll need:

Time needed: 10 min. prep, 20-30 to cook.

  • one angel food cake mix
  • one jar lemon pie filling– 21 ounces–this can be tricky to find so beware!

Put these two ingredients into a bowl and mix together.

Pour into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 25-30 min. A toothpick will come out clean when they’re done.

When they come out of the oven, you can dress them up for a party with some confectioners sugar. Or not, if you plan to eat about half of them while watching reruns of Sex & the City (SATC). I used my heart cookie cutters in honor of the upcoming ‘holiday.’

Enjoy!

    • Karen Halgren,
It’s been awhile but I just no saw this recipe and your comment. you say he used a box of lemon pudding? did he make the pudding and mix and then mix it with the dry anglefood cake mix? It would be a much cheaper way to make this I think?
