Cheddar parmesan biscuits

Biscuits….is there anything better?  Oh, you’re right, biscuits with cheese. That’s what’s cookin!  The cheddar makes them seem like those delish biscuits at Red Lobster, the parmesan gives them a nice bite with just enough saltiness without being too overwhelming. These are divine……I added some pepper and tarragon to mine to make them more savory, but they will still come out pretty tasty if that’s not your thing.
You’ll need:
5 min + 15 min. cooking time
Makes 6 good size biscuits
  • 2 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 4 T. cold butter-cut into cubes for easier mixing
  • 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c. parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 t. garlic powder
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • *1 t. tarragon
Combine bisquick and butter, cutting together with forks or a pastry cutter until it combines and there’s small pieces of butter in there.  Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until just combined. Don’t over mix! No one likes a tough biscuit!
Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased or lined cookie sheet.  If you’re feeling fancy you can gently form these into biscuit rounds with a little flour to keep the dough from sticking to your hands.
Cook at 400 degrees about 15 min.  Feel free to brush melted butter, serve up with more butter, gravy, orhoney for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
